I have used a number of digital tools in my life, but I’ve never really used them in the way I use them now. Not because I don’t have the skills to use them, but I just never really did. For some reason, I think I’ve always been a bit less aware of the technology that I use then most people.

It seems like things and ideas can be used in many different ways and yet still feel very specific.

It seems like things and ideas can be used in many different ways and yet still feel very specific. For example, I use a number of different software applications to watch television. Ive used the services provided by Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video. I use a number of different streaming websites to listen to music. And if you think I am some sort of weirdo, imagine the kinds of things I might use to play a video game. So, technology seems abstract and generic in a way that I never really thought about.

So, technology seems abstract and generic in a way that I never really thought about. The same goes for things like cars, phones, and software. We know they can be used in many different ways, but they feel very specific. Yet each one of them has a specific function. They are all the same hardware that is basically the same software. They can also be used to perform seemingly unrelated functions. So for example, I could use the same phone to be a police officer. I could also use the same phone to be a doctor.
